Share experience, not instructions
You can talk about what helped or harmed you. Do not diagnose another member, tell someone to ignore clinicians, or give medication instructions.
Protect privacy
Use a display name. Do not post someone else’s identifiable health details, screenshots, addresses, phone numbers or private messages.
Use urgent services for urgent problems
The community cannot assess emergencies. New stroke-like symptoms, a first seizure, chest pain, breathing difficulty, self-harm risk or immediate danger need urgent services.
Be kind and specific
Disagree respectfully, avoid personal attacks, and make support practical. FND affects people differently.
Moderation
FND Connect moderators may hide posts, lock comments, warn users, suspend accounts, approve Page requests and record moderation decisions.
